Job Summary:

Plans and directs all aspects of design and development engineering activities within the organization. Ensures all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with organization's established policies and objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 10 years of experience in the medical device field. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to top management.

Director of Business Development

Department: Business Development

Job Summary:

Responsible for oversight of the Business Development, Marketing, and Sales groups. Monitors industry to identify gaps and potential opportunities. Develops strategies for lead generation and acquisition of new accounts, assists in aggressively identifying and qualifying new business opportunities to develop a strong sales pipeline of research and development projects. Responsibility for companywide marketing programs including electronic and print advertising, trade shows, social media and market research as well as directing the strategy and day-to-day objectives of the Sales and Marketing team. Strong knowledge of the Medical Device industry with extensive contacts.
